OFFICIAL FIELD REPORT:   Below is my trip report to NW LA. by Wade Bush

       There Is Something Very Wrong In NW LA.

            My weekend trip with Bobby Hamilton.

I was invited to a field research weekend with Bobby Hamilton. I wanted it, wanted it so bad that I pestered him until he was able to go.

Here it was, my opportunity to go from keyboard and TV specials to fieldwork. I was very excited at this wonderful opportunity. Not only would I be embarking on another phase of my life but also I was fortunate to go to a known BF area with a real BF researcher.

Bobby met me at a local gas station. His rig is impossible to miss. He was more than I expected.  Serious in his work. Very "matter of fact" in what ever he does. He rolled out the red carpet for me the whole trip, thanks Bobby.

The trip into the area took a while. It's fairly remote. There was nothing unusual about the area at first glance. It looked like normal rural America at its best. We drove to a small field to begin the day. After preparations we walked some lower areas near the field. A very narrow trail. The brush was so thick, an elephant could be 10 feet away and you wouldn't know it. I was introduced to a pile of BF droppings and some old faded footprints on my opening minutes of this weekend. Talk about results. Broken limbs here and there. Now I was starting to get excited.

That night I just knew we would have a group of BFs come in and make a bunch of noise. They didn't. They slipped in and quietly watched us. You could hear significant twigs snap buts not see a thing. Just like children and animals, they never do what you want them to do when you want them to do it. We did hear a lot of distant vocalizations. I just knew they had a pack of red wolves on the property. Heard a dog get attacked. The local cattle were going nuts.

The next day we began covering the rest of the property. None of the dogs were missing nor any hurt. No one has ever seen nor known of any wolves in the area.  Found more marking signs.  Found 4-5-6 inch trees snapped into. Found more old tracks. Found an area of dead animal bones. Found FRESH (last 24) fecal sample.

The next night, again they were real quiet, slipping in breaking an occasional twig or two but real quiet. Heard a distant horse getting excited near the house and metal being shaken violently.  All the dogs going nuts again. Found out there ain't any horses in the area. I turned in early that night.

The next day we searched a backyard. Yep, the feeders been messed with, the whole wooded area in the back has been trampled. Found another dead animal.  Found some hair.

To date 10 dogs have been killed at this location. The current dogs don't leave the yard area.

Family history has BF activity here for at least 3 generations. People down here just don't talk about it. The property caretaker's whole family has seen these animals at different times throughout their seven years of association with the property.

We had covered about 250 acres between foot and four wheeler, again thanks for bringing those Bobby.

Something is definitely wrong here. Things weren't adding up. I had been there 2 days and a 2 nights but I had only seen one rabbit, a few birds, a few animal tracks and no wolf tracks. This place should have been beaming with wild game especially deer. Only seen a few deer tracks at the front gate when we first came in.

Conclusions: Awesome weekend. Learned more about BF in two days than I had my whole life. They are there! They cannot exist without leaving their indicators on the land. These have impacted on the game population heavily. If you're going into a bad spot, take Bobby with you.

Other Notes:  I (Bobby Hamilton) would also like to note that Wade's trip was not part of the Ultimate Bigfoot Weekend I had previously offered. He was invited to join me, as a possible new recruit for the GCBRO.  If he was on the weekend trip I offered previously I would not have charged him a dime, for the simple fact, that not much action was had.  I have found that these creatures in this specific area only act out their aggressions during the Fall/Winter months and are not as aggressive in the Spring/Summer months.  Hence no stomping and screaming out and breaking limbs , or emitting their odor in an attempt to drive us out of the area.

Other Other Notes:  I also want to note that since our trip in the area, there is another 2 dogs missing from the property.  The dog attack sound we heard that night is quite possibly one of the creatures screaming out.  I reflected back on what Smokey Crabtree had told me about the "Fouke Monster".  He said it could mimic a dog hung in under a gate screaming out in pain.  Well what we heard that night was a dog screaming out in horriffic pain.  Although not sure if it was a Bigfoot making that sound or not, there was no dogs found hurt or wounded the next morning.
Wade was also correct in mentioning the Horse making a "Whinney" sound.  There is NO horses on or near the property.  The sound was approximately 300-400 foot up the lane from us and that would put it between us and the front gate of the property as we had moved our camp for the second night.  The metal that was being shaken violently was up near the gate area and there is a lot of scrap metal and iron in that area.
