Report
Received From: The GCBRO Online
Report Submission Form.
DATE:
9/28/01
TIME:
5:00 pm
LOCATION:
Wyoming, Near the boarder of Sublette and Sweetwater counties
TERRAIN:
Sage Brush
OBSERVED:
I was driving home for the weekend from college. I had just passed
through Farson Wyoming on my way to Pinedale Wyoming. It was near
dusk and the sun was just starting to set when off on the right hand side
of the road I saw a large ape like creature that would fit the description
of bigfoot. It was probably three hundred yards in front of me as
I was driving and was about twenty five yards off on the right moving towards
my left and would soon cross the road in front of me. As I was moving
closer it turn it's upper torso to look at me. Not like a human who would
just turn it's head. It then increased the speed of it's stride but did
not break out into a run, and moved behind a small hill. As I came
around the side of the hill which was just of the highway I expected to
see the creature. So I pulled over but to my suprise it was no longer
there. Once it had gone behind the hill it must have laid down in
the Sage and hide. I did not get out of the car and decided just
to continue home. It has been several years and just now in 03 I
have decided to tell this story.
Activities of Witness:
I was just driving home from college.
Description of Creature:
The creature was very large. I would guess near seven feet. It was
also very broad. I think it was a male.
Other Notes:
There's been stories from others. These occurrences have happened
in the Wind river and Wyoming mountain ranges.
Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments: Upon contact the witness had no additional information to add to this report.
