from Florida, Rented a cabin in Pocahontas County for hunting purposes.
Day 1 hunt, the Princeton hunters stopped by the tree stand to get the Florida
hunter, He would not come down from the stand, was terrified to come down
out.He then told them that he saw two 6 to 7 foot hairy creatures, walking
on two legs in the middle of a stream. The other hunters began to make
fun of him. After that sighting the Florida, did not stay in cabin for
the rest of the week, and would not hunt anymore. Day 2 was normal as usual.
Day 3 of the hunt, Rained that morning, at noon Scott was coming back in
to cabin for lunch for the hunters. As he was coming in he spotted a mud
hole in the middle of a logging road. he then spotted 4 impressions that
was 8x22 inches long, and about 6 foot apart. He thought it was very unusual,
could not make out if it had any toes or anything, the mud was very wet.
Day 4 Scott kills a 10 point deer, he field dresses it and then returns
back to cabin for help. when returning back to site where deer was
killed, the deer was missing and so was the gut pile. Whatever had
took the deer had carried it UP the mountain, the deer was carried and
NOT dragged. Also noticed a foul mildew smell at the area where the
