OBSERVED:    Actually saw creatures on three different occassions.  One sighting occurred after finding a handprint that measured 13 inches long.  You could see dermal ridges in the print.  The print was found in a garden where my neighbor said his cabbage plants were being eaten by a bear. At the time the raspberries were ripe and for a bear to leave the berries growing right there alone but eat the cabbage seemed odd so I took a look.  That was when I found the hand print.  A friend and I did some looking on the mountainside below the garden in large rocks passes and thick woods.  He went one direction and came toward one another to try and drive to one another any animals.  I saw a large brown hairy wide shouldered humaniod running over the mountain.  It was funny but I just thought it was female.  Two days after that sighting the same friend and I were looking at the garden and I saw some larger creature stand up and just move so fast it was almost as if it just vanished.  Two days later I had purchased a new 3 million candle power spot light to try and see what was tormenting my dogs.  Itwas not fully charged but the brother of the other friend was visiting and said let us test this spot light across the road in the fields from my home.  We took the light out here was a dark human shaped creature standing over fifteen feet with red shining eyes that were several inches if not a foot apart.  My friend ran back inside to grab better spot light(charged one) and we got a short but good look at the creature.It was Black knappy matted hair that was faded to brown on the arms it shielded its' eyes with.  The arms were huge and seemed to touch the ground.  It ran off on all fours which it covered one hundred yards in a second or two.  It moved let me tell you.  This could not have been a person cause a person could not run that fast.

Description of Creature:  Dark human shaped creature standing over fifteen feet with red shining eyes that were several inches if not a foot apart.  Black knappy matted hair that was faded to brown on the arms.  The arms were huge and seemed to touch the ground.  It ran off on all fours.
 

Other Notes:    My neighbor was ran home while picking berries by one of these animals.  I say animals because we find several different size tracks in the bogs and on the hillsides compressed in the leaf litter.  I know Bear tracks and all other animals.

We have noises here that is a heavy drum like throwing a heavy flat stone on the ground making a boom noise.  They happen in the woods here where ever you travel.  There are neighbors who have lost 30+ sheep and I am convenced that these creatures got them.  The same people had their dogs attacked on the chain by these things.  They describe their dogs getting after this animal making the whisles and screams we hear when they are here, in the old corn field before they stopped growing it.

There is a deep hallow that runs off to a nearby creek. I have heard the noises in that hallow hundreds if not thousands of times since I was a child walking these hills.

My neighbor who owns the property is from (with held) and he has saw it many times but he is near death, smoking is killing him.  Several others have also seen it.

Additional Notes or Comments:  Well this may seem just as odd.  In the area of the night-time sighting there has been over twenty sightings of a Huge (over three hundred pound) BLACK mountain Lion.  I have found tracks the size of a gallon coffee can lid up until May 5, 2003 when I looked across the road and saw a long black thing sticking up (its'tail) then like a cat catching mice it leaped about ten feet out of the brush and the disappeared in the laurel thicket.
 

More Additional Notes or Comments:  I know that these creatures are here.  I find their trails throughout the area.  I have found deer kills with just the liver removed and I have found bone piles in the woods.  I have photos of foot prints, handprints, and trees bitten.  My neighbor whom was a woodsman completely and made his living from gathering ginseng and goldenseal was scared by a sighting so bad he moved away and got a job cleaning pools then was so unhappy he committed suicide.  He was digging
ginseng and came upon a large patch and left his bag where the first plant began.  He heard a noise behind and turned.  There were three or more of the creatures behind him.  One was going through his ginseng bag.  He threw his digger at it and ran home up the side of the mountain.  It was a four mile
run.  I spoke to him right after the sighting and he was still shaking getting the mail.  This guy was a honest straight up kind of guy.  He once told me he saw rattlesnakes while walking and I doubted him till he came in carrying a dead one he clubbed.  I have no reason to doubt his sighting.

The sightings I have saw myself if a hoax would be so stupid a hoax,  I own over forty firearms and carry a pistol everywhere I go(conceal carry permit).  Plus the animal across the road was moving so fast a human or bear couldn't run that fast.
