LOCATION:   Logan County, West Virginia  
 

TERRAIN:    Creek bed, paved road abandon coal slush pond  
 

OBSERVED:    The creature ran across a creek bed up a embankment and across a paved road up another embankment and across an abandon coal slush pond.
 

Additional Info:    It came from the direction of a local residence

 
Activities of Witness:    I was playing at the end of the street where we lived which ended at a creek, where I was throwing rocks in the creek just moments before seeing the creature.
 

Description of Creature:  The creature was 6" to 7" tall, Covered in thick black fur and it stood upright, broad at the shoulders, long arms 
 

Other Notes:    N/A
 

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    I've heard stories about other sightings but I myself have not seen anything like that in this area since, But years later while my brother and I was squirrel hunting just a few miles from this area off the same road we heard a scream that sent chills up our spines we never heard anything like that before.
