TIME:         Sighting occured in day, heard the screech at the edge
              of  dark.

LOCATION:   Lincoln County, West Virginia
 

TERRAIN:      Wooded
 

OBSERVED:      I saw what appeared to be a bedding area. There were pine trees roughly as big around as my arm broken off around 6 to 8 feet high and these were stacked in a form and fashion as to make a roof of sorts, and there were also smaller trees bent over with the bigger trees laying on top. There was fresh pine boughs laying on the "floor" of this area and they appeared to have been layed on by something heavy.  I thought that maybe some of the local kids may have been making a "play fort" at first, but there are no kids living close enough to have done this.

Later that evening, at the edge of dark, my hunting buddy and I heard something that sounded very similar, but much louder and longer drawn out than, an owl screech.
We both left the area and I have never been back there since.

There was nothing else witnessed by me nor my buddy, but one thing that might be important to note is the sighting of something that was dubbed the "goat boy" by those who saw it.  Whatever it was that was seen was described as having hair all over its body and having a "goat looking face", and it appeared to be a juvenile.
The sighting of this thing was relatively close to where I witnessed the "bed" sighting.
 

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):  I was deer hunting. Had been sitting near an old house foundation, but when I started walking and looking, found this bedding area bordering a very thick area.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:    Nothing seen except bedding area, and hearing high pitched screech.
 

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?:   As far as actually seeing a "creature", I havn't yet. But I do have a friend that saw something stooped over a dead deer that appeared very "humanlike in form", as he put it, with long shaggy orangish brown hair just a couple of weeks ago.

Another friend of mine and myself are going to go to this sighting area and ask the people that live there for permission to take a look around. And of course we will ask them if they have seen or heard anything unusual.

This sighting occurred after dark beside the road that my friend and his wife were traveling.
