OBSERVED:    I was living in WVA in the heart of coal country, My Mother and i were departing our residence one morning when i stopped and asked her a question we heard a sound that we had never heard before growing up in the heart of the appalachian mountains we know the sounds of various known animals whatever this was made our hair stand up on the back of our neck whatever this animal was it was not far from our home i do not know what a big foot sounds like. I was afraid to leave my brother and sister in the home by them selfs my mother ordered me to jump in the vehicle as it terrified her as well.And to add some of the sounds that have been reported as evidence there has only been one that sounds like what we heard. we were heading out to go to my bus stop and it was still very dark outside my mother did not want me to walk the mile and half alone in the dark out of the hollow in which we lived.
