TIME:

LOCATION:
Overton County, Tennessee, ON HWY. 84 GOING
TOWARDS LIVINGSTON, TENNESSEE
TERRAIN:
COMING ACROSS FROM A PASTURE, CROSSING OVER
HWY. 84 INTO A WOODED AREA.
OBSERVED:
I WAS GOING TO WORK DRIVING AT A SLOWER SPEED,
APPROX. 45 MPH AND THE CAT CROSSED THE ROAD IN FRONT OF ME JUMPING OVER
A GUARD RAIL INTO A WOODED AREA. THE CAT WAS QUITE LARGE AND WAS BROWN
WITH A GRAY CAST. I BELIEVE IT WAS A MOUNTAIN LION.
Activities of Witness:
I JUST LEFT HWY. 293 AND CROSSED OVER TO HWY.
84 TO GO TO WORK.
Description of Creature:
THE CAT WAS THE SIZE OF A LARGE DOG IN HEIGHT,
SUCH AS A LAB. IT WAS LONG AND SLIM. THE CAT WAS BROWN WITH A GRAYISH CAST
TO ITS COAT. I DID NOT SEE ITS TAIL AS I WAS IN AWE FROM LOOKING AT ITS
HEAD AND FEET. IT WAS RUNNING ACROSS THE ROAD, BUT AT A SLOWER PACE.
Other Notes:
I AM STILL PUZZLED BY THIS . IF ITS NOT A
COUGAR WHAT IS IT? I KNOW FOR A FACT IT WAS SOME KIND OF A BIG CAT...I'M
JUST NOT SURE WHAT KIND.
