LOCATION:   Chester, Vermont 
 

TERRAIN:    Wooded/Mountains
 

OBSERVED:    While me and some family were tapping trees my cousin looked up and pointed out a large black cat looking at us from a large rock about 25 yards away. my uncle then reach for his gun just in case the cat wanted some supper.
 

Activities of Witness:   we were tapping trees to get ready for maple sugar season
 

Description of Creature:  it was a giant cat looked like a mountain lion but covered in black fur and that all we could see
 

Other Notes:    about 1 year before a man had his 2 bogs dragged off by a unknown beast. we had the fish and game and some cops looking for what did it.
 

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments:  Upon contact the witness had no additional information to add to this report other than to confirm it was a legitimate report.
