TIME:
Mid-Day
LOCATION:
Outskirts of Henderson near Smith Mills, Kentucky
TERRAIN:
Wooded, Bottom lands near Ohio River
OBSERVED:
Giant pterodactyl type bird. Solid red color. Smooth, leathery skin.
No feathers. Extremely long wings. Long curled up
tail. Thick beak with knob
or protrusion of some type on top of head. Wingspan at least 20 feet or
better. It was so big that my wife
mistook it for an airplane at first.
Creature banked right just above tree tops-still descending toward treetops
with feet out stretched as if to land. Its feet were like those of
a normal type bird with long talons. I noticed hair about 5 or 6 inches
long growing just above its feet.
I wanted to chase after it but my
wife was so terrified she would have none of that business, for once, she
was probably right.
Activities of Witness:
My wife and were driving through the area surveying damage caused by recent
(2 days prior to sighting) tornado.
