OBSERVED:     This is a true encounter, I have kept it all to myself for many years now because I knew people wouldn't believe me.  No one has to believe me, but I did see what I saw, and what I saw is nothing what I see everyday. Wilder Forest was a private wooded area in Washington County in Minnesota. Inside the Wilder Forest, there is a Lake, so old I think it's been there for thousands of years now. It certainly was not man made, but was made by mother nature.

The lake was deep, but clean and dead trees were the only thing that stood tall in that lake, everywhere around that lake was full of tall grasses, ferns, and oak trees, it was a marshy atmosphere, but it contained one of the most largest large mouth bass, crappies and Northern Pikes. Anyone who knew and comes across the lake would sneak into that lake once in a while to catch some big fish from it.

I discovered the lake a few years before my encounter with the lake monster during hunting season, I got lost from another forest and found myself wondering through the lake. I fish there off and on ever since then.  And this one time in 1996, I went out there to fish all by myself.  It was about 5 pm or so, the weather was quite windy, but a clear day and the sun was about to set in for the evening.

There was an old tree stump about 13 or 14 feet standing in the water. I set up my fishing rod from the shore and threw in my bait next to the tree stump, seconds later I notice some black spiny looking immage rose slightly from the water surface. I thought it was some sticks or some big fish fins, cause it looks just like a fin. But in my mind, I knew fish could not get that big.  I than felt as if I was frozen, trying to think what was it. Soon the spiny looking image was rising higher above the water surface and it looks just like a really big fish dorsil fin, and the fins got bigger and taller close to 3 foot off the water surface and swimming back and forth next to the tree stump. I didn't move or didn't get scared at all, I was still feeling like I am frozen looking
at that huge dorsil fins swimming back and forth for another 20 seconds or so and it slowy disappeared back into the water. That night, I dreamed of riding a really huge dragon like snake into a small village. This image really bothers me ...could someone help to guess what I witnessed on that day?  I have my suspicions, but this creature doesn't exist in real life.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):  Fishing

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:   Large black dorsil fins closed to 3 foot tall above water surface, from the view of the dorsil fin, it swims back and forth like a snake would swim in water.  That night, I dreamed of riding a really huge dragon like snake into a small village.

OTHER NOTES:   Maybe it was trying to get my bait...my bait was a live frog.
