LOCATION:  Pewaukee, Wisconsin, Waukesha County

TERRAIN:     Wooded, Swampy

OBSERVED:    My friend Emily and I were out and about down a little hill into a small wooded area with a small pond.  We were sitting on the grass just talking.  When all of a sudden we hear something making a loud but strange noise in the tall brush.  It sounded like snapping branches from the low trees and feet stomping in the lightly flooded areas.  When all of a sudden we see a large dark haired creature run rather fast to the opposite end of the pond.

Since we were more towards the road where the forest ended we could clearly see it.  After it raced across the land, it made sharp loud sounds at us.  More like a high scream echoing.  We were very scared, actually extremely scared.   Emily wanted to run and so did I but I wanted to see if it was human or if it were something else.  So as I moved slowly "Creature" moved faster and faster till he ran so far we couldn't see him any more.  I will never forget it, but I will never return to those woods in my backyard.

Description of Creature:   Large dark haired creature

Activities of Witness:   We were just playing around and talking when we saw him.
