Report
Received From: The GCBRO Online
Report Submission Form.
DATE:
June 16, 1991
TIME:
10:00 pm
LOCATION:
Wisconsin, Washburn County
TERRAIN:
Wooded
OBSERVED: It was a drizzly friday night around 10pm, as I was driving east bound on one of the state highways, a big shadowy figure caught my eye to the left side of the road (north side) about 20 to 30 yards from the road.
I slowed down quick but couldn't stop or pull over, as there were other cars not to far behind me. I seen what looked to me like a big orangutan ape standing next to a hill or knoll. It was standing on the down side or bottom side of the hill, but I could tell that its height was tall because the top of its head was like parallel to the top of the hill that it was standing by.
My description of it as looking like an orangutan ape is because its hairy fur color was a brownish red. The thing I noticed right away was its massive shape and its long arms that reached down to its knees or just below.
Now days, (now that I know a little more about the different species of apes), I could honestly say that it could be best described as that gigantopithicus ape that was known to have walked the earth during the caveman times etc.
I kept looking in my rear view mirror,
to see if any of the other cars that were behind me might have seen it
too, and were going to stop or pull over but they didn't.
Activities of Witness:
Driving 55+ mph to meet with friends for a social outing.
Description of Creature:
Massive hairy brownish red from head to toe, long orangutan like arms.
Looked like the gigantopithicus ape that was known to have walked the earth
during the caveman era.
Other Notes:
N/A
