OBSERVED:    I was watching my cat, Larry, as he stared at the birds in the back yard. I looked back and noticed a small, hairy, humanoid walking at the edge of the woods. It walked for a while until it got near a large tree. I called for everyone to come and see it. It must have heard me, because it charged off into the forest, scaring several squirrels and birds. I ran out after it, but it soon became out of sight.
 

Activities of Witness:   I, had been eating at the table by the door to my yard. I was very overheated because I had no air conditioning.
 

Description of Creature:  It was rather short, about 4 feet tall. I didn't ever see the entire front of it's body, but I believe I saw a black nose at one point. It's whole body was covered in brown, with a bit of orange, fur. It had very long arms and very little visible neck. When it turned while running off, it momentarily placedit's arm on the ground to maneuver.
