DATE:    4/28/02

TIME:     In the evening between 6-8 P.M.

LOCATION: Bellingham,Washington

TERRAIN:    Wooded
 

OBSERVED:   We were out hossen in the wooded area in our truck.  We had gotten stuck in the mud, but we soon got out.  Then we decided to give the truck a break.  We started to explore the area and noticed a really unexplainable smell, but we thought it was just the mud.  Soon after we noticed prints on the ground that ressembled a human foot, but they were way larger.  Also, the mud was so hard there wasn't anyway an average person could have made the print.

While we were all looking around something caught Anthony's attention.  The look on his face was enough to get us scared.  He then said we better go, because he just saw something.  He then told us to jump back in the truck with a tremble in his voice. We then knew what he saw, and ran to the truck as fast as we could.  We then began to look for what he seen, and saw him standing by a pile of cut cedar branches.  We  then got out of there as fast as we could. Over the sound of the truck you could hear him scream a high pitched scream.

We was going so fast through the woods that we jumped a thick pile of mud an bottomed the truck. That caused us to break the whole rear end of the truck.  When we finilly got out we went to my sister's house to tell her what just happened.  Then we started to clean the truck and noticed something strange, the smell, what we smelt wasn't the mud.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESSES: We all jumped in the truck scared to death.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:

He was real tall about 9 to 10 feet, he was covered with dark brown hair except his face, he had real high cheek bones and his eyes had an aubern look to them. He had really broad shoulders and looked very muscular. It also looked like he had a real stubby neck.

From were I was sitting i noticed this dark figure. What stood out to me was his broad shoulders and how they looked like there wasn't a neck because of them, and there was so much dark hair. He was crouched down like he was trying to hide, but when he stood to walk away you could see the power in his stride. , Yes, there had been sightings and hearings of him near that same spot that night.

OTHER NOTES:  The next day we went back with some family members and went to the same exact spot where we seen him. You could see two impressions in the ground where he was standing.  Then there was a trail of footprints that led further into the woods.  You could see the branches, twigs, and other things pressed to the ground where he walked through.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA:  What we were told was he is mostly seen in the evenings.
