TIME:               1:30 P.M.

LOCATION:       Washington, possibly XXXXX County
                   In a creek bed, I am not sure if it was in XXXXX
                   County but I think so that or the next one going east.
 

TERRAIN:       Wooded but with a creek around so not swampy
 

OBSERVED:       This information comes from me and this is the only time that I will ever tell this story to anyone, because I have read the rest of the storys here and I believe what happened was what I saw.

My mother and step father and I go aggate hunting all through the summer. After spending more than and hour tracking up in the middle of this creek I was getting tired, So I told my mother that I needed to rest because I was tired, So I found a log that was submerged in the water.  My mother told me she would be back in like ten minutes, I remembering looking at my watch and thinking of what time I will get home.

I had gotten comfortable after waiting for going on 15 minutes, my shoes were off and my feet were playing in the water, I am very quite while in the woods so that I can experence nature with out distrupting it.  When I was simple playing with my feet in the water I heard a splash come from about 250 yrds away from me. I could not see what it was because the creek was all whindy, So I shrugged it off as our rottie coming to look for me so I started getting my shoes on and all of a sudden as I was tying my shoes the smell of wet dog was just all around me, (I dont have a keen sence of smell so you know it had to be strong!)

I though at first it was our dog but then I heard a low growling noise, Now our dog loves me dearly she lives and dies for me so I knew at the monment that it was not my dog. My back was turned to the growling and I slowly stood up still bieng on this log, I grabed my bag with the rocks I had found (which must have weighted around 20 pounds), And preparied my self to throw it and run.   The growl begain to get higher and louder as I felt the hairs on the back of my neck raise, I never turned around although I still wish that I had, I simple threw the bag as I spinned in a "360" and ran off the other way trying not to fall. I heard feet (that sounded like two legs in and out of the water like mine did) after me in the water later but they slowed down and eventually stopped. I was running for a good ten minutes as fast as I could in a rock river bed when I relized that I was lost!

I went out of the creek and found an old trail heading the way I thought was best to go. After around an half an hour of walking the smell of wet dog was around me once agian,  fear ful I froze this time to see what cause this smell when I heard growling yet again.  I swear I must have lost all control because (I) fell right there standing still, just boom on to the ground, I was still awake but I thought this thing would think I was dead. I tryed not to breath to much as the growling stopped and nothing  moved for what seemed  like hours, finally I heard a loud growl from the other side of me and as you can guess I was saying my last prayers. Then I heard more deeper growling coming for the side of me were the creature was. I felt my dog go besides me and nudge at me as to see if I were alive, she kept growling and when I looked up her teeth were out, I quickly sat up and looked to see what she was growling at.  As I looked I saw a creature on all fours growling back, it was a male you could defanatly tell ( the member was in full sulute) he was higher on all fours than my dog who is more than half my size and I am 5'9. and he had his knuckles in the ground just pawing at the ground.

This was not a bear, or a cougar, It was black with a human face but dog like teeth that were yellow. it was all tensed up because you could see the massive mucles in its arms. As I stood "it" raised its self and kept it eyes on my dog. I begain to back away with my hand on my dogs back as if to tell her we were leaving. As we were well around 75 feet away "it" turned and walked away looking back at us. I kept walking backwards until I felt better.

When my mother finally did come back to get me she found my pack about 50 yrds away from were I was sitting to rest, all the rocks had been scattered and the bag ripped open( this is one of those army back paks that are really tuff even with scissors to cut.) She got scared and sent the dog out, I only told her that I got scared and walked away and a cougar must have done that.

I have still never told her what exactly happened all she really knows is that I got scared and ran!!
 

ACTIVITIES OF THE WITNESS(ES): We were walking through a creek.  No beer, just water and tea.
 
 

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:      Black with long hair that hanged as he was slouched down, his eyes were brown with red like veins in it, Muscular. And big!! (more description below in follow up letters.)
 

OTHER NOTES: Well, After thinking of this, I realize that I was on my period when this accured, hence why I needed to rest.  Also the fact that my dog is not the meanest dog in the world but has had her scrapes with bears and deer, so she handled it well considering that "it" could have easaily killed both of us.
 
 

OTHER OTHER NOTES:  Follow up letter.  And I must point out that this young lady
was very fearful of telling her story or allowing it to be put up on the GCBRO database.  Only after reassuring her that none of her contact information would be given out to anyone else, did she agree.  I would like to personally thank her (for she knows who she is) for allowing us to publicize her story seeing the sensitive nature of it all.  By alerting people to this danger, It may save a life some day.    Mary Green

Yes this bigfoot thing is real, I was 14 yrs old when it happened and now I am 16, I have never told my mother or any one that this has happened cause my  mother would have surely commited me. I can not really think of the length of the hair I would say that it was matted looking and at least five to six inches long, just resently I was back up there to that site with My step father and most of the creek is completly cut off from even getting to it because of clear cutting. It was strange though cause I was just near the truck and the smell and feeling came over me yet again. but my dog was not there so I stayed near the truck. I am trying to remeber it right now and it is just giving me chills, umm I remeber the hands being really big but "it" was only about six maybe seven inches taller than me and I am 5'7, so I am guessing an adolesent. The eyes though were covered by long hair almost like bangs in front of his face and he was squatting like but his butt was not touching the ground, now that I remember he was like sniffing the air or something when I was laying down on the ground cause now I remember a sniffing sound like a hound does, that sound that is really loud. I really dont know why my dog
did not run away, she is not the bravest touhgest dog in the world but in my book she really is!!

SECOND FOLLOW UP LETTER

I still can not figure out why my dog did not cower away someting I may never know. I also remebered though that it (the Bigfoot) was bleeding from the nose and mouth, I never really noticed it though until this morning when I tried to picture it again in my mind, it was bleeding not bad but a little blood was on its face, a face that looked like a really hairy man who had never shaved, and it also had a scar looking thing over its lips, just a slash in the left hand corner of his  mouth. he had thick lips and a marble looking nose. the hair on his face was only about an inch long it was around his face that it was six inches long, the face was pale like he was sick. I wish
I could have seen the eyes!! If I had only turned around when I was on the log!  Perhaps when I threw the pac it made him bleed, but I don't remember blood on the pac at all.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?:      I dont think so it is winter now so we do not go up there and I do not go far from the truck.   When we do go aggate hunting, although my step father is a logger and has heard some storys of something big hauling off with  two large newly cut trees under his arms, that must of happened no more than 3 miles from where we first had gone in the creek.
