LOCATION:   East Haven, VT, Caledonia Co., Sawyers Mountain -
 Near an apple orchard - Off of Route 114. .

TERRAIN:      Wooded mountain area - near apple orchid..

OBSERVED:  My mother was in the woods reading when she felt like someone
was watching her, she looked up and she saw a figure moving toward her but
parallel with her.  He didn't not change his direction, moving very fast.
It was upright walking very fast, as if in a hurry.  It was walking very
gracefully, as if to glide.  It came within 25ft of her.

His neck appeared to be part of his shoulders (very muscular).  Large head
with broad shoulders.  He stood around 8ft to 11ft in height.  He had ape
like hair with long arms and appeared to have human-like eyes.

She felt unthreatened and not scared, but began to be uneasy after he left.
She then decided to walk back home.  This encounter was reported to the
local police department.  The police officer even suggested it was Bigfoot.

Two days after her sighting another sighting in Kirby (the other side of the
mountain) was published in the local paper.

 Description of Creature:  His neck appeared to be part of his shoulders (very muscular).  Large head with broad shoulders.  He stood around 8ft to11ft in height.
He had apelike hair with long arms and appeared to have human-like eyes.

Other Notes: He was silent and there wasn't any noise of his presence.  Later that day myself, father and mother went back to the location.  We noticed the grass was pushed down where something had walked through.  No tracks were noticed due to the grassy environment.
