LOCATION:      Essex Junction, Vermont, Chittenden County

TERRAIN:         Field Line Bordering Tree Line

OBSERVED:      I was playing Hide and Go seek with my Brother and a Friend.   They were supposed to be hiding but had secretly gone around to front of house and went back inside.  While I was outside with a dog and a flashlight, I started to walk near the tree line and the dog started to violently bark and growl near the far right corner of the field. I shined my flash light and called out thinking it was my brother but recieved no response.

I shined the light again and saw a slight movement then a full unhuman body came into view about 6 feet tall, slightly larger than human shoulders with long arms and covered with short hair.   I kept the light on the creature  as it moved parallel to me.   About half way across the field it stopped and stared right at me, the eyes reflecting a greenish light from the flashlight,  then it turned and started to run to the left corner of the field, finally dissapearing behind a storage shed.
 
 

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):    Playing hide and go seek at night with friends.   I was 9 and my brother would be 13 and his friend 14.   very close to residential area
 
 

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:     Very graceful movement and stealthy un-human like.
Around 6 feet tall, long arms, slighty larger than human shoulders, eyes reflect green in light, head is slightly pointed, walked slighty hunched in the back.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?:      Same description as other VT sightings; knew nothing of big foot or similiar creatures, I was an avid outdoorsmen before the sighting but now refuse to go into the woods by myself day and or night.
