Report Submission Form.
DATE:

TIME:
3:00 am
LOCATION:
Montgomery County, Texas
TERRAIN:
Wooded
OBSERVED:
My boyfriend, a friend of ours, and myself decided to go camping the other
night. We arrived at camp around 6:30 or so and went about setting up camp.
As the sun started to go down we occasionally heard a branch break in the
distance but really paid no attention. We had run out of fire wood and
our fire started to die down and I got rather sleepy so I made my way to
the tent to pass
out. My boyfriend followed soon
after informing me that our friend was going to sleep in the car.
My boyfriend and I were in the middle
of messing around when we heard (VERY close to us) a twig snap. We had
heard a few just moments before but were rather preoccupied and brushed
it off. We couldn't ignore this one because it was RIGHT outside our tent.
On the other side of the tent we could hear another one breathing and in
the distance we could hear owls hooting...but it sounded more
like a bad impression of an owl
hooting. There had to have been at least three at all times. We were still
and motionless in the tent praying they would go away. And they were just
circling our camp, picking at anything they were curious about. One even
touched the car where our friend was sleeping.
We heard it place its hand on it...like
*thunk* For about 30-45 minutes we were paralyzed with fear in our tent.
We saw the shadow of something very large and somewhat man-like but much
bigger pause over our tent. And something brushed my boyfriends arm while
he was frozen with it against the side of the tent. Talking about it now
makes me shiver all over and want to cry. I have never been more
afraid in my entire life. Finally
they went away and my boyfriend and I made a break for the car. We left
the campsite last night after notifying the park ranger and we booked out
of there.
Activities of Witness:
camping, roasting marshmallows, sex with boyfriend, then scared
Description of Creature:
We never saw it, but it sounded HUGE and barely made any noise walking
except a few branches cracking. Owls hooting/poor impression of owls
hooting Dogs barking NONstop Large cracking noises in the bushes.
A large shadow pass over the top of the tent. A large finger touch
my boyfriends arm. Deep breathing, sniffing, snarling.
Other Notes:
I've never seen or heard anything before this, but a friend of mine has
told me of several occasions where he has seen them. He said they are particularly
attracted to women on their periods...and I think they were attracted to
the smell of sex.
Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments: Upon contact the witness had no additional information to add to this report.
