Report Posted To GCBRO Web Site On  February 1, 2011

DATE:    11/6/2010

TIME:     9:30 am

LOCATION:   Harrison County, Texas

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:    I found 2 rabbits that had been ripped in half while i was scouting for deer sign. They had no internal organs intact and there was no blood around the bodies. To be honest ripped might not be the best word for them, they looked sliced at approximately the same area on both bodies. Upon inspecting them i got the feeling of not being alone and my adrenaline started kicking into overdrive. I left the area but did return for the next several days to deer hunt without incident.

Additional things: Never heard anything out of the ordinary however, up until that morning i had approximately 10-12 deer showing up at the location daily and i didn't see a deer in that pasture again until the day after Thanksgiving.

Activities of Witness:   I had been hunting a hilltop that slopes down into a heavily wooded slough.

Description of Creature:  Didn't see anything.

Other Notes:    I was surfing the web and found that less than 3 miles from our property their was a footprint found and cast.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    N/A

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments N/A
