TIME:
10:00 pm
LOCATION:
Collin County, Texas
TERRAIN:
The road is white rock and turns to dirt about half way, the road is maximum
2 miles long. Mostly pasture, trees line the road and cover most of the
pastures. deep creek bed is at the end of the road.
OBSERVED:
I was parked at the end of the road where the creek kinda bends making
a sort of cul de sac. I was there about 30 minutes, just sitting there
wasting time. The truck was running and I had the lights on. I turned on
the cargo light so I could see behind me because the end of the road is
kinda scary and I felt better with the light on. After a while, about 30-40
minutes I looked in my mirror and saw something near the side of the road,
just barely out of view of the cargo light. It was light brown to reddish
in color and kinda looked like it was hunched over. At first I thought
it was a tree limb that had fallen and was kinda hanging on the fence,
I got kinda scared becuase after I thoought about it I didn't remember
a downed limb. I rolled up the windows and sat there for a while then fear
over came me and I turned around and left. When I left there was no limb
or anything. I saw no eyes, and didn't notice any smells, the place smells
kinda like mildew all the time because it stays pretty wet in some places.
Activities of Witness:
Sitting at end of dirt road with girlfriend.
Description of Creature:
Light brown or reddish, I looked like it was hunching down as to not be
seen, but it was still taller than the fence which is about 4 foot tall.
Other Notes:
I have never seen anything other than one panther in the area.
