Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: On the above mentioned date, a friend and I were camping on a mountain in east central Tn. The area surrounding the campsite is hilly, and heavy forested. Around midnight my friend and I were talking when we heard a loud noise which neither of us had ever heard before. Both of us have lived in the mountains of east Tn. but have never heard anything like this. This sound frightened both of us. I looked at another site and found a vocalization that both of us think is what we heard. At the time we heard this whooping sound we heard dogs around three miles away start barking. The strength of the sound is what scared me the most. A short time after we heard this "call" I heard what sounded like two big rocks banging together. We can prove that we were there at this time through the TWRA. There was also another tent about 1/4 of a mile away who had been there before we were. We did not talk to them about this, because we left the next day. My friend that was with me lived in the area longer than I, and has a story of another encounter that he had as child. There is a few houses around the area at the bottom of the mountain, approx. three miles away. This is where we heard the dogs barking. I'm sure someone in the area has heard this also. Activities of Witness: We were riding four-wheelers during the day, and we were camping, just enjoying the outdoors at the time of this.

Description of Creature: Did not observe anything by sight. Only heard the noises.

Other Notes: The noise we heard was on north side of us and the sound of the rocks banging together was on the south side of us.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes: I called my father the next day and he said that there has been reports posted from the neighboring county.
