OBSERVED:
I would have never thought it to be true.
The stories my late Uncle had told me of the so called creature he referred
to as "White Thing" to be true till I was dumb struck tonight at work by
a coworker revelaing a story from his teen years. My late Uncle used to
tell me a story about how he was on the road side one night sleeping off
a nights worth of Blue Ribbon when his vehicle was attacked by a very large
white creature that stood upright like a man but was hairy like a bear.
We never really took this as being true because he was an avid drinker
and liked to stretch the truth about lots of things. Then tonight when
I was dressing out to go to work I overheard a couple of co-workers describing
a creature they had seen on a fishing trip they went on in their teens
and it was just like my Uncle had told me about and I was literally in
tears hearing this. I had caught the rear end of the story so I sat down
with him at lunch and got the entire story. They were around 16 year old
an used to go fishing on the river and as they were on the river bank one
night at around midnight they remember seeing a creature across the river
about 100 yards up stream slowly walking towards them in the moon lite.
The river at this point was rising because the water systems are controlled
by a network of TVA dams. They said the creature stopped and stared at
them for a few minutes and preceeded to get in to the fast current and
wade directly towards them and at this point they grabbed their gear and
took off running to their truck and never looked back. This is an absolutely
unbelievable occurence to actually validate the stories that my Uncle had
told me and makes me a true believer now!!
