LOCATION:
Perry County, Tennessee
TERRAIN:
Wooded near waterfall, hilly, somewhat steep terrain
OBSERVED:
I was walking on a trail up a hill away from a waterfall with a group from
my church, when i saw a footprint. The footprint was 12 and one half inches
long, and five inches wide. I knew that this was no human footprint; not
just because of the size of the footprint but also the depth of it. I could
barely make an impression in the ground nearby, so I figure this thing
was at least 300 pounds when the creature walked through here in muddy
conditions and a lot more if in dry conditions.
Activities of Witness:
We were hiking through the woods on a walking trail.
Description of Creature:
It was definitely a footprint, but I could not discern the toes. I did
not see a sasquatch, nor did I hear one.
Other Notes:
I have been investigating Bigfoot for the last few years. I am always on
the lookout for territorial markers, hair, footprints, and of course to
see one. I also listen for them as well. There was several of us hiking
that day, and we had all walked right by this footprint on the way to this
waterfall. It was on our way back that I spotted the footprint.
