REPORT RECEIVED: From the files of Mary Green

DATE: June or July 1985

TIME:  After Midnight

LOCATION:  Calhoun, Tennessee, McMinn County

TERRAIN:  Wooded
 

OBSERVED:   When i was almost 16 years old i had what a now concider a sasquatch experience. how do i know this? well what i saw was no bear for 3 reasons.
1 a black bear is not that big
2 a black bear does not walk on its two feet for as long as the animal i saw did
3 as far as i know a black bear does not smell as bad as the creature i saw

it had been raining all day that day and by nightfall it seemed to intensyfie. it started to thunder and lightning. and i remember that i was up all night reading a book and i know it was after midnight when i decided to get up and go to bed and also to check on my dogs because they had been barking all night long i remember standing up off the couch and i started toward my bedroom to get my shoes thats when i noticed something walk in front of my back door

What happened next was as i was standing there looking at this thing the porch light went out and i thought this thing just knocked my damn light and all that did was make me scared even worse. all i could think of was what was it going to do next and i just knew it was going to come busting through my door if it did i would have droped dead on the spot then and there. but it never did anything else that i could tell because when the light went out i couldnt see a thing and then i saw another flash of lightning and it was just bright enough to see that it was gone. it wasnt on my porch anymore so i decided to sneak up to the door and take a look and i honestly made the decision that it was gone so i opened the door and when i stepped outside thats when i fell because the rain always made my porch slippery than ice and i fell down and thats when glass went through my knee but you know what? i didnt even feel it.  i was so high on adrenalin i dont think i would have felt it if i was shot.

well i just stayed were i was and at that time there was another flash of lightning and i saw it again this time it was out in the woods with its back toward my house just standing there and thats when at that time i heard a sharp shrill whistling noise farther off in the woods going towards the mountains and this thing made almost the exact same noise as the other one did and it started to move off into the woods and all i can assume was that there was another one out there somewere. thats the only thing i can conclude. theres no other way around it.  what else could it be and after that i never saw it again i just listened while it ran off in the woods all though the other one would randomly make those whistling noises everyonce in awhile.  at least i can assume it was the other one it could have been the one i saw on my porch as it got farther away into the woods. anyway thats my story and thats what began my obsession with sasquatch

All this took place in XXXXX tennessee. i was liveing on a 66 acre ranch at the time our closest neighbors were 2 miles away.  i mean this was the boonies.  i know i wasnt hallucinateing. i know this did happen to me. i dont understand it and i dont know why but all i know is that it happened and i will take a pollygraph test if need be. the other thing i can say about it was that as far as i could tell it was a dark blond in color but now that im thinking about it theres a lot of factors to concider

1 it was raining really hard and that does change hair and fur color and

2 i was scared shitless to put it bluntly and the porch light could have made it look a different color than what it really was theres only two people ive ever told this story to.  There was a creek not far from were i lived at at the time called bigfoot creek whether that has any relevance i dont know also as far as were where my dogs dureing all of this they had ran under the house and would not come out no matter how hard i tried to coax them.  All they would do was whine and carry on like that.  well this is my story i hope you take me seriously i wouldnt go out of my way to decieve that i promise.  i just froze were i was at and the porch light was right over the door so i could see outside a little bit fairly good. what i saw is something i will never forget to this day now after haveing years to think about iti can safely say it was a sasquatch. but the strangest thing about all of this was it just stood there stareing at my porch light. why it seemed to be doing this well i will leave that one to the experts i havent the slightest clue as to what it was doing and why. as far as what it looked like it was about i would say over 7 feet tall because my backdoor was about 7 feet high and this animal was taller than my door all i could see of it was part of its arm and chest the rest of it was over the door and to say that it was looking at the light the reason i said that was because it was faceing the area were my porch light was and thats all i can assume and plus with what happend to the light.
 

Description of Creature: Over seven feet high, dark blonde in color

Other Notes:  The smell was the first thing that hit me it was the most discusting thing i ever smelled in my life kind of like a dead dog thats been lieing in the son for 3 weeks with a little bit of a skunk thrown in for good measure
