Report
Received From: The GCBRO Online
Report Submission Form.
DATE:
January 10, 2004
TIME:
4 P.M.
LOCATION:
Madison County, Tennessee
TERRAIN:
Wooded
OBSERVED:
I have been investigating Bigfoot activity behind my church buildings in
a wooded area. Beyond this wooded area to the west is wetlands.
On a Saturday afternoon I decided to venture into this active area again.
It was about 4 P.M., which was a little more than one hour before sunset.
I checked out an animal trail that runs north/south just to the west of
the pushed over trees area. About 15 yards southwest of those "trees";
I found a large footprint. I was very excited, yet at the same time
a little bit frightened. I carefully placed my size 12 shoe next
to the footprint and it was the same length: 12 inches! It also had
five toes, and was a left footprint. Unfortunately some of the footprint
was obscured because it was not on the trail. It was wider than my
shoe. I have figured to it be from a Sasquatch. First, it was
approximately 40 degrees Fahrenheit at the time, and we had been going
through a cold spell. I do not know anybody that hunts barefoot during
this time of year.
Activities of Witness:
Investigating an area for Bigfoot activity.
Description of Creature:
N/A
Other Notes:
The landowners' son and I had been at the church on New Years Eve, and
we heard something stirring in that same general area that night.
We were not fearless enough to go over and check it out. The footprint
had vanished by early February.
Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments: Upon contact the witness had no additional information to add to this report.
