Report Received From: The GCBRO Online Report Submission Form.

DATE:    December 28, 2003

TIME:     2:30-4:00 P.M.

LOCATION:   Madison County, Tennessee

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:    This is a continuing investigation of Bigfoot in this area of southwest Tennessee.  Sometime in November of 2003, I was walking around the south end of our church's storage building when I noticed what appeared to be a Bigfoot territorial marker about ten yards southwest of the storage building.  There were two limbs balanced onto an oak tree forming a teepee shape.  This peaked my
curiosity, so I looked for more evidence in the area.  I walked about thirty yards to the south of the marker and I came upon a small ravine which had numerous trees pushed over from every conceivable direction over it.  There is no way that a storm could have done this.  These trees were from about ten to
thirty feet tall.  The trees were smaller than most of the trees in this wooded area.  I also found a distinct X shape to the west of the marker by the wetlands.  This area is wooded behind the storage building, and drops in elevation about 65 feet.  The wetlands area is a little less than 200 feet west of  the storage building.  I decided to plan a investigative trip with my co-investigator:" the landowners' son".  We were able to do this on December 28, 2003 during the afternoon.  We saw everything in which I have
previously described.  We also found four more interesting things.  First, we noticed several animal trails through this relatively narrow stretch of woods.
Deer are obviously plentiful in this area.  Second, we found a cool spring about ten feet from the wetlands area, which of course fed into the wetlands.  Here is a natural source of water for all the creatures in these woods.  I have been told that there are several springs in this area which feed into the wetlands.
This particular spring is about 25 yards south of the X shape.  Third, we found several debarked cedar trees.  Bigfoot have been known to do this.  Fourth, we found a footprint.  It was approximately seven inches long and embedded in very soft soil.  We figured it to have been a juvenile Bigfoot.

Other Notes:    Later that afternoon we went to the old church cemetery, where we decided to walk to his house.  The area immediately to the west of the cemetery is owned by his parents, and about two miles south of the church where we were earlier.  On this trip we found long hair on a barbed wire fence.  We suspect this to be Bigfoot.  The landowners' son has several samples of this hair from barbed wire fences on their property.

The X shape, and the pushed over trees could have been done by a back hoe, or something similar.  Of course I did not find any evidence of tire tracks, nor any man-made machines in those woods.

There have been several more occurrences since 12/28/2003.  I will send them in soon.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments This witness has been very cooperative with the GCBRO, not only now, but in the past as well.  We hope to get an on site investigation going on, in this area very soon.  Any future updates will be added to the web site.
