OBSERVED:    This started years ago.  In 1968, my son was four years old.  We stayed with my husband at that time in Tulsa OK.  One day my son went out on the front porch.  He came back in and said,  "Mommy, there is a big, black, hairy man sitting on our front porch."  I went to look and saw nothing there.  Later in the day he was out on the screened in porch and came in to where I was at and said,  "Mommy, that same big, black man is looking in at me (was standing outside the screened in porch looking in).
I went and didn't see anything.  Later that night, as I was helping him get to bed, he was sitting on the foot of the bed, and all at once he pointed at the window and said,  "There he is looking in at the window."  I turned and looked and didn't see anything for the third time.  I just went ahead and put him to bed.

The next morning, I got up and went outside at around 7 A.M.  Our backyard was in very deep grass, standing at least waist deep where we hadn't gotten it cut for a long while.  I looked towards my son's bedroom window and could see that the grass was really matted down there right underneath his bedroom window.  I went and looked and the grass was really pressed down there in the shape of a huge being.

All summer long there were reports of the police chasing a big, hairy thing.

Next we moved to Lenapah Oklahoma.  We were having an Evangelist at our church  and his two boys were staying with us.  His two boys and our son were sleeping outside in the front yard.  We noticed all at once that night that a huge figure was staring in at our window at me and my husband.  He got the gun and shot right through the window at it!  But by the time he shot, it had turned and ran.  My husband shouted for me to go out into the front yard and bring the boys in, while he ran out the back door, chasing the huge figure.  When he ran outside "It" jumped flat footed over a tall fence out back.    The figure stood there at the fence until my husband  came around the house and then "it" picked up a stick and threw it at my husband.  He described it as hairy from head to toe.  His comment to me was that it was NO bear, that bears don't stand straight up like a man, that it stood and ran like a man.  It was 6-7 foot tall, and was huge, with a very muscular build.

Next time we had something like this to happen we had moved into Arkansas at Beaver Lake.  My kids and my nieces and nephews, sister and her husband were staying all night with us.  That night the kids were playing outside in the woods a game called hide and seek.  Pete ran through the woods to hide and he ran right into it.  He said he had to look up to see him.  He started running, yelling at the other kids to get out of the woods.  They all ran and the bigfoot followed them to the edge of the woods.  The dogs came running home too, yelping and whining and ran underneath the house, except for one which ran right into the house. Pete's mother thought her son had run into a bear.  By this time, I felt like a bigfoot was following us around and taking a fixation on our family.

I know that when I took the cow down to water I would feel like something was watching me.  Also, my two children told me one time that this creature would come down by the saw mill we used to have and stand by an old car there and watch me and their Dad.  They didn't tell me this for many years and it surprised me when they did.  They had grown used to it doing it and didn't seem too alarmed at all by it.

The next occurrence happened when we went camping.  We were traveling towards Watts Oklahoma.  We camped at a river by Tellaqua (sp?).  This was in 1975 or 1976.  We heard something jumping from tree top to tree top.  It made a whooshing sound as it went from one tree top to the next tree top.  It was growing louder.  It scared us so bad we left the camper trailer and slept in our vehicle in a parking lot in town.  When we returned the next morning, we found nothing at our camp or our camper was disturbed.  I just know whatever it was, it was definitely coming to us.

Later in 1980, I was going through a divorce from my children's father.  This was back in the town of XXXXXXX near Tulsa, Oklahoma again.  We started living together for a while at my sisters house with my present husband.  All of a sudden we heard a big BANG on the wall outside of the house. I told them it was bigfoot back.  I was going through a very hard time then.

My boyfriend and 3 other guys who were there went outside with their guns.  They saw "it" on the South side of the house in my sister's garden.  This garden was fully grown up and chest high in weeds.  Whatever it is, it jumped that fence of the garden and went off behind some grain buildings.  Carl came back.  He said,  "I shot it with a 22 rifle."

We went outside the next morning and looked around a lot.  We found a bush with a piece of meat on it, a very small piece though.  This piece of meat was high enough, it could not have come from a dog.  My husband now wanted to turn this in, believing it was from a bigfoot, that he might have injured it enough, a small piece of meat had clung to this bush while it was trying to run away.  I worried about letting the police become involved in it as I was in no state of mind to deal with any news coverage.  The hair on this small piece of meat definitely was not dog hair.  I never seen anything quite like it.  It was really thick, but it had very fine hair on it, coal black in color and not even an inch long.  It was not as coarse as a pigs hair, but softer.  The skin was a grayish color. It was no more than one inch long.  I threw it into the fire in our stove and burned it.  I did not want any publicity at that time.

I can't say that bigfoot is a human being as we know it.  I think it is above an animal or below a human.  I think it is very intelligent.

After running out of the house that night after this thing banged on the house, I could see it standing out by a log pile that was 5 1/2 foot high and at least 10 foot in diameter.  It looked to be 7 to 7 1/2 foot tall, and weighted at least 600 to 650 pounds.  It stood up right.  I could tell it looked like a man, but his arms were a little bit longer than a man's arms.  I fired at it at 20 yards.  It then went flat footed, him and another one standing there also, jumping over the log pile.  They cleared it very easily.  I had just finished piling the wood out there that day.  There was a horrible stink in the air.  When I hit it when I shot it, it let out a roar...a roar like when I was overseas hearing a howling monkey.  The smell was just unbearable.

I am a professional tracker and an experienced hunter.  I found foot prints 18 inches long and 6-7 inches wide.  When I fired the shot, my two red bone hounds were raising cane.  They wanted to go chase it, and were trying to snap their chains to pursue it.  There were a pair of them and one was a little bit shorter than the other one....close to the same height but one was half a head shorter.

We had all kinds of berry plants out back there and we caught them in there once.  They were down on all fours or bent over one.  We fired off the first round, they ran, and we tried chasing them down.  They headed off in a NE direction.  Haven't seen them back anymore.
