TIME:          11:00PM

LOCATION:  Rural Jenks, Oklahoma in Tulsa County,
                81st St. and Elwood Southeast corner (12 acres)
                of intersection  sparsely populated and heavily wooded.

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:  I was 7 years old at the time and I am now 54 years old and retired from Frisco, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.  I was raised in a small two bedroom house with my mother and father and one sister and two brothers.  There was a creek running through the property and a large old barn that sat about 70 yards from the house.  One weekend my grandma came to stay with us and my brothers and I had to share our bedroom with her. One night about 11:00PM while my brothers and grand ma slept soundly and the BIG PICTURE was playing on the TV in the living room I lay wide awake on my bed listening to Grandma snore loudly.  After telling her to roll over three or four times I noticed a large (maybe 7 feet tall) creature covered
with brown hair looking in the window.  He had his forearms resting on the window sill and was staring at Grandma.  I jerked the covers over my head and played dead all the while praying for Grandma.

I will never forget the fear that gripped me that night.  I knew I had to get up and go get help for Grandma's sake so I threw off the covers and as I started to run into the living room and tell Dad I noticed that the creature had turned and was walking away toward the creek.  He was very broad across the back and extremely muscular and covered with slick brown hair.

I raced to the living room and told Dad, he grabbed his old single shot, break open shotgun, and his old railroad lantern and went out to investigate.  That was scary in itself I thought that there was no way that Dad could protect himself with that old shotgun.  Finally Dad came back inside and said there was nothing there and I was probably dreaming, but I knew that I wasn't dreaming I knew that I was wide awake at the time that this happened.  I never saw the creature again, but I would never go near the creek or the old barn any time in the evening or at night after that.  I no longer live there, as a matter of fact I have moved to Rogers County Oklahoma and have had other encounters here, but I will tell you about those at another time.

Description of Creature:   A large (maybe 7 feet tall) creature covered with brown hair,  very broad across the back and extremely muscular and covered with slick brown hair.

Activities of Witness:  Laying in bed, waiting to go to sleep.

Other Notes:   I have had other sightings here in Rogers County Oklahoma.  And have heard many things.  I sell hunting leases and many of my hunters have heard things and will no longer go in the woods until daylight and they make sure that they are out of the woods before dark.
 

I have tried to track him down to talk to him but can't.
