DATE:    October 2006

TIME:     3:00 am

LOCATION:   Southeast Oklahoma, along the Indian Nation Turnpike

TERRAIN:    Remote, pitch black, hilly with trees

OBSERVED:    While driving 18 wheeler south on pike around 3 am, I saw what I thought was a deer in the ditch or low area on west side of road.  As I got closer it ran up the hill at a fast pace.  It was on two legs and all I got was a glimpse of it in the outer beam of my headlights.

Activities of Witness:   Driving an 18 wheeler on a dark and desolate piece of highway.

Description of Creature:  Big and dark in color.  Running on two legs, not a bear. It was heading west away from the road at a sprint.

Other Notes:    My mom graduated from Fouke AR high school in 1968 when all the boggy creek hype was going on.  I was familiar with all the stories growing up and listening to what my mom said.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    N/A

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments N/A
