REPORT RECEIVED From: The GCBRO Online Report Submission Form
DATE:
11/25/02
TIME:
15:45 hours
LOCATION:
Rogers County, Oklahoma
TERRAIN:
Lots of trees and hills with strip pits.
OBSERVED:
I was deer hunting, out of a tower stand, on my personal property at 14:30
hrs. It was
the 3rd day of deer season here
in Oklahoma, and the weather was 35 degrees. I didn't hunt the
morning hunt cause it was extremely
cold at 20 degrees and I knew I would freeze out early. We
had heavy hunting pressure on the
deer the day before and I really didn't think I would see any
deer but I went anyhow. I got in
my stand at 14:30 hours and the wind was blowing out of the
north about 30 M.P.H. it was cold
but I was in an enclosed stand, which cut down on the bite
of the cold wind. It was
cloudy and windy and nothing was moving at all. No squirrels, deer,
birds, nothing at all. Well at
about 15:30 hours, I was looking North at a fence line through
a small opening in the trees and
for about 1 second I saw Bigfoot walking towards the east at
a regular walk. Not fast, Not slow,
just a determined walk, like he had business to take care
of. Now my original thought was
that my eyes were playing tricks on me. Like if your
concentrating to hard to see deer,
you will make out deer in the woods and its only a tree
limb with leaves on it. So I passed
it off as that but still it was in the back of my mind.
Will about 15.45 hours I heard
tree knocking about 200 yards from me. Know we have had a lot
of trespassers this deer season
and I marked it down to another trespasser but I would check
him out in the morning, cause it
was getting to late to go over there then and ruin my deer
hunt. I thought the tree knocking
was someone putting up a tree platform.
Now the wind quit blowing and the
sun popped out and the evening was beautiful in the woods.
it was actually getting warm. Still
no animals of anything moving. I didn't care I was enjoying
the woods. The leaves were dry
as cereal post toasties and if anything would be walking, I
would hear them now as they walked
on the dry leaves.
Will it was getting dark now and
the corn feeder went off and I had about 30 legal minutes
of hunting left. When the corn
feeder goes off, the predators usually move in looking for
deer, so I thought I would take
me some coyotes. It was dark now and I could only see about 30
yard and was just getting ready
to come out of the stand when It happened. A loud holler to my
left that left me paralyzed. it
was a holler that was only about 40 yards to the west of me in
the thick woods. I had a flash
light but didn't use it for afraid of what I might see. I
hurried out of the stand and headed
for the house. I didn't follow me, just wanted me out of
the woods.
Once I got back to the house my
wife told me she had heard it too. I got to putting the
evening events together and decided
that I had indeed seen Bigfoot the first time and it was
not my imagination. The tree stand
being put up was actually him doing the tree knocking
thing. Not only that but the tree
knocking was in the other direction, so there was at least
two of them.
Now the description of the one I
seen walking was about 50 yard away for one second, He
was slender like a 18 year old
kid. About 6 ft 8 or 7 ft tall. All black with about two or three
inch hair covering his body. He
did not have long hair that some people see. From the right
side of him that I was looking
at, He had long arms and legs average size chest and a regular
head like me or you. He didn't
know I was around because the wind was in my face and he could
not smell me. The one that screamed
or hollered would be more correct did smell me I assume.
Thats all that happened, except
I will not stay in that stand anymore when it gets dark.
Activities of Witness: Sitting in a tower stand deer hunting.
Description of Creature:
N/A
Other Notes: There's been lots of other Bigfoot reports from this area, a couple I have on your site. I might add that this same tower stand a hunter was in a few years ago and he saw him attack and kill some turkey and the person would not come back to hunt, ever. This year another hunter was in it and he heard some strange noises he told me. I never told him what he heard, cause he wouldn't have believed me.
There's alot of Bigfoot activity
in this area. I think they are out looking for gut piles.
That's when a hunter field dresses
his deer and leaves the gut pile on the ground. And they
could be drawn to the corn feeders
we have out for the deer. He may eat corn, but he is
differently looking for the deer
that comes to them.
Additional Notes or Comments:
The
GCBRO, has visited this area and done some investigations from this witness's
other encounters. Our field researchers found many footprint impressions
and other evidence to support there being more than one Bigfoot in the
area.
