REPORT RECEIVED From:The GCBRO Online Reports Submission page.
DATE:
early fall in 1979
TIME:
N/A
LOCATION:
Oklahoma, Payne County
TERRAIN:
Wooded and sandy with some open fields near river
OBSERVED:
It
was early fall in 1979. Me and a girlfriend was riding around late one
evening,
when I smelled a weird-smelling stench or odor. Out of curiosity we circled
the mile section.
When
we got back to the same basic location my girlfriend saw something in the
field just next to us on our left. This something was coming toward us.
Coming
up was a section road, so I turned right. The stench was getting stronger.
My girlfriend said to me "It's behind us!"; so I sped up. I was probably
doing 80 MPH and this thing was still with us and gaining! Just before
I came to the end of the next mile section it was beside us on the left
side of the truck. I turned right and it cut across the corner, stepping
over the three strand barbed wire fence like it was nothing and right back
behind us for a little bit. Up ahead was a street light or yard light.
As we got closer to the light it backed off and we kept going.
Activities
