DATE:
July 15, 1988
TIME:
12:00 am
LOCATION:
Murray County, Oklahoma
TERRAIN:
Wooded
OBSERVED:
While walking to my trailer house, I was startled by heavy footsteps. I
looked beyond the trailer facing a pond and I witnessed a large very hairy
figure walking across the yard. I screamed loudly like a school girl and
got back in my car and went to my mom's house. I have never been so scared
in my life. I remember the creature never even glanced my way after I screamed
like it was deaf. I never looked back at this point.
Activities of Witness:
I was getting out of my car coming home from a girlfriends house.
Description of Creature:
Being 100 feet away it was hard to tell but I am estimating the creature
to be 7 ft in height and possibly around 400 pounds in stature. Hair would
be fairly long. Long enough to see it waving in the breeze. Posture was
slightly hunched over with long arms. I had mostly a side view, but best
I could tell he looked teddy bearish much like the furry Chewbaca on star
wars.
Other Notes: I myself have had one more occurrence as a child coming home late in the evening from a fishing trip. I was only 10 and at the time thought I saw a bear. I look back now and realize it was probably the same creature.
My mother was staying in the same
trailer in 1989 and something was walking around outside and eventually
broke a window out of the trailer. She said she could here breathing and
hear footsteps and knob shaking. She said she could see shadows as whoever
or whatever walked past the windows several times.
