TIME:
Mid day
LOCATION:
Carter County, Oklahoma
TERRAIN:
Wooded and swampy in other places
OBSERVED:
Large hairy creature screaming and waiving his arms into the air.
Activities of Witness:
My mother her sister and cousin were all little girls when the sighting
occurred. My mother was the oldest of them and she was only 10. All of
them say the same story even to this day. They were playing in a wooded
field when the beast came out and roared at them. They ran all the way
back to the house through sticker patches and they were all crying. My
grandfather was an avid hunter and had hunted all over the country. when
the girls came and told him the story he laughed it off and went to investigate.
He said "He didn't didn't know what made the tracks". This all happened
before I was born but I've heard the story many of times. I thought ya'll
would like to hear it as well.
Description of Creature:
I'm submitting this sighting for my mother her sister and their cousin.
My mother was a little girl when it happened. She said the beast was of
incredible height and had the girth of a bull. It was dark brown with maybe
a hint of red. Hair covered it's face so well you couldn't make out any
certain features.
Other Notes:
Every time I'm off work I go hunting in these same woods. I've never seen
anything personally but I know plenty of people around here that have.
Other (Informational or Encounter
History in the General Area) Notes:
What got me more interested in bigfoot was about six years ago one of my
uncle's hired hands and his grandson say they saw the same thing. Nearly
in the same location but about five miles away.
