TIME:
dusk, about 8:15pm
LOCATION:
Cheshire County, New Hampshire
TERRAIN:
Wooded
OBSERVED: Left Nieces' house, and heard a strange sounding motorcycle , but it was indeed, and it echoed through the tops of the trees....I looked anyway, and at the end of the backyard to the right of the entrance of the old path leading to Mt. XXXX is this old oak and I noticed something staring at me. peeking from behind the tree, a very familiar pointy head, but before i could even "digest" this, imagining it was my eyes, it popped out and shifted, danced, from one leg to the other, his arms slightly out , almost gunslinger style, as if to "draw" and i noticed a thumb and his hands otherwise looked very unusual, as if he wore mittens(!) He did that side to side thing a couple of times, popped back behind the tree, peeked again, then did it again then popped back in. At this point i jumped into my car and aimed the headlights right into the woods but I saw nothing....I couldn't believe my eyes....here was some bizarre as it gets behavior as i have seen them.
I thought i was seeing things. I
mean a couple of years ago i had seen and photographed spoor including
one foot print but I never expected to see one!!! Not this one. But apparently
it had seen me before as it acted relatively unafraid, just playful, where
as before i couldn't see it at all, no matter how i tried...all i ever
saw there was the "tee Pee" styled marking, where as two huge wishbone
type benches placed alongside this huge oak tree was discovered and I photographed
that too...but i could never catch a bF in my camera lenses....but 4-5
days later I was leaving my sisters and I was talking to my BIL on the
deck when something caught my eye, not AGAIN! This one was much shyer,
doing that sneaking crouch walk looking entirely human except being very
hairy and bulky... anyway it went from left to right then right to left,
melting into the forest and my headlights failed to catch it- they always
seem to know i am going to do that!.
Activities of Witness:
N/A
Description of Creature:
Both were huge, the 1st being tall and furry, short thick dark hair, knees
bent, long arms slightly raised and at least on the longish left arm the
thumb was exposed...it rocked left and right and back again a couple of
times....a very pointed head but as it was dusk i saw no eyes, just this
huge shadow, that looked like a cross between a man and an ape with the
human coming through as if an ape in the process of changing into a human....the
second one was very sneaky and moved fluidly through the low underbrush
at the edge of the woods, I got the impression that it didn't expect anyone
there at all...it crouched, and acted exactly like a human might, no hint
of a hominid at all except it looked, this one anyway, like a gorilla due
to the bushes and the manner in which it was stooped.....like someone in
a gorilla suit would walk, but imitating a human, not an ape! Stooped over
of course. this ones' height? I don't know, maybe 7 feet, maybe eight..not
sure as it never walked up
Other Notes:
MY sister late last year was headed to see a cousin several miles away
when but a nile west of here she saw what she believed a "bear on its'
hind legs howling at this house!" She described this "bear" too...very
"tall, with it's arms outreached" and "howling".. she went on to
say, it "had red shaggy hair, as if it was molting" (sorry Sis-that ws
NO bear) I asked her further about it too, and she too concluded that wasn't
a bear after ALL! It too was about dusk or very late afternoon.......!
