TIME:   about 10 in the morning 

LOCATION:    Nebraska, Wayne County
 

TERRAIN:   wooded steeply rolling hills..almost mountainous 

OBSERVED:    I was living in a house that had  been converted from a restaurant
and was reputedly built by frank james in the late 1800's.  I left the house
in the late morning to go to school in Santee Nebraska  and as I was leaving
my driveway  I looked out my rearview mirror and  saw a large shape standing
on the edge of the road in the snow next to a tall leafless bush.  I stopped
the car and turned around to get a better look and it was already running
into the woods  which were maybe 10 feet from the  bush it was  originally
standing next to.  The creature  seemed to be covered in a tan to medium
brown colored   hair  and was probably about 7 and a half feet tall.   I
mentioned  the sighting to the  president of the college I was attending,
and she said to me that sightings in that area were common, and in fact she
and her husband  had seen  a bigfoot  in that very same area only a few
months before.
 

Activities of Witness: driving car down driveway
 

Description of Creature: Covered in a tan to medium brown colored   hair  and was probably about 7 and a half feet tall.  
 

Other Notes:    A few months before this sighting my younger brother who lived in
a house about 2 miles away  with my parents  was in the woods playing and
came running up to the house screaming and crying that something in the
woods was trying to get him.  he said he had  been in the woods  exploring
and saw a "hairy man" laying on  a log across a small creek.  the man was
looking at him and  jumped off  the log and started to chase my brother.  my
brother said he ran all the way home screaming.  My dad took a gun out in
the woods and  found an extremely large footprint of a bare foot in the mud
next to the small creek, but no other evidence  that anything had  been
there.
