OBSERVED:    I was getting ready to go to work early in the morning (3:30 am).  It had snowed the night before and there was about six inches of fresh snow on the ground. I was scraping the snow of my car's windshield when all of a sudden my wife who, was standing at apartment door, started screaming Look! Look!. I turned around and I saw, what I thought at that moment, a large white bear standing upright on the road which was about 30 yards away.  It stood there for about 5 or six seconds looking at us and then took of running towards and alley next to the apartment complex.  I got in my car and took of after it but it disappeared in the darkness.  I got my flashlight and started looking around but did not see anything.  I did notice that there were several large bare footprints on the snow.  They were approx. 16-18 inches long and about 10 inches wide and were sunk in the snow about 4 inches deep.  I followed the footprints to a grove of old cottonwood trees where the tracks dissappeared.  I went back to my wife who was hysterical with fright and I assured her I was alright.  She thought the creature might have hurt me.  After she calm down she started to describe what she had seen and was afraid that It might come back and get us because she claimed she had made eye contact with the creature when it stopped and turned towards us and she was afraid. Needless to say I did not go to work that day and stayed home with my wife until she got over it.  I did call the police but to no avail. They just laugh and question whether I had been drinking and was seeing things.
 

Activities of Witness:   Nothing out of the ordinary just the everyday routine I go to work and my wife stands by the door and sees me off. Except this day was certainly different one that I and my wife will never forget.
 

Description of Creature:  The creature was approx. 8-10 ft. high. Weighed probably around 500-600 lbs.  It stood upright like human and walked with a long stride and swung his arms as it walked.  Its hair was long, dingy white and it did not cover its face or the palms of its hands.  I do remember that when it ran it was fast and had a powerful running stride. 
 

Other Notes:    All these years we never really wanted to tell anybody for fear of ridicule, but after watching a program on tv about Bigfoot and after hearing those skeptics says this and that about it. My wife and I know what we saw and we were not in any mountain forest or desolate place.  Bigfoot is for real.  We saw it!
