OBSERVED:
I was on a camping trip with my girlfriends family. We were camped
near a creek. I was awakened early one morning around daybreak
by sounds from the creek near my tent....I wondered who was splashing in
the creek maybe washing pots and pans, etc? so I crawled out of my tent
and looked at the creek...there standing on the creekbank was a big and
tall form, man-like....it was barely light enough to see and at first I
thought it was a bear or someone from our camp or other campers nearby....I
stood up and took a good look and the thing turned and looked at me and
stepped into the creek and was across it in several strides...I got a pretty
good look at it and it was covered in dark and light colored hair....big
shoulders and upper body and long arms....once on the other side it looked
back at me and then kept walking into the woods...I was amazed as well
as a bit scared. I awoke my girlfriend in the next tent and told her about
what I'd seen and she thought I was kidding.We told the park ranger the
story and he just laughed at what we said....that's all the story.A
