TERRAIN:
Wooded, Mountainous Area
OBSERVED: I had just turned off Hwy 89/8 onto Mountain Road going towards Flat Shoals Road when after approx. 1/2 to 1 mile on Mountain Road, a rock hit the left front part of my car. There was a ridge on the left side and a hill on the other side of the road. There are no houses close by. I was going approximately 20 mph just looking at the scenery, when something thew a rock at my car. There was no loose gravel around, so I know that my car didn't sling it up to make contact. Also, I was driving extremely slow. I had a very eery feeling right when I turned on to Mountain Road that something was up on the ridge. My mom was riding in the passenger side when the rock hit & it scared her to death. It took me approximately 2 minutes to find a place to turn around and go back to see what threw the rock. Since there are no houses close by, I feel certain that it was a bigfoot trying to get my attention. I searched the ridge as I drove back, but saw nothing, no movement.

Other sightings of bigfoot in the area on this website over the years.
I am familiar with Carmichael Creek and Hwy 311 that crosses it. This is
where bigfoot has been spotted in the past and is a few miles from where
I experienced the rock throwing.
