Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: I got home from the evening shift at about 12:30am Wednesday morning and went straight to bed. About 3 am I was awakened by a thud on my roof and then my cats started making sounds like they were scared. I got up and went to the room where they are and there was nothing out of the ordinary and they were up and active but otherwise fine. I went back to sleep. I got up about 8 am and after making some coffee went out on my deck to see if there was anything on my roof. There was nothing on the roof or near the side of the house where something may have fallen off. I chalked it up to things that go bump in the night.

I went back in for another cup of coffee and went back out on my deck. This time I heard rustling in the leaves about midway up the side of the hill behind my house. I have plenty turkey and deer so I figured it was either one of them but what I saw still puzzles me. It looked like a tall skinny monkey with longer than usual arms walking upright. I first thought it may be a hunter but he would have been wearing a full fur suit and he didn't have a gun. It may have been a bear but it was walking on its two back legs. As it got closer to my house I hollered "hey" and without looking at me it shot straight up the hill and over the ridge.

I had intentions of going up and looking for tracks but had to go work and we had two days of hard rain since then. I wouldn't have thought much more about it but when I got to work I checked my emails and I had one from my neighbor asking me if I had the time to check around her house because something crashed into her roof about 3 am. She thought it may have been a tree branch but her dogs went crazy barking and stayed that way until she left for work about 8 am. She said they were staring up at the hill toward my house and growling. That kinda spooked me.

That's all I have and I can swear to the little bit of accuracy I was able to provide.

Description of Creature: as best as I can describe it looked like a tall skinny monkey with unusually long arms

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments: Witness Follow Up Notes: I feel kinda silly for sending it in but I still can't be sure of what I saw. Everyone says it had to be a bear but it was walking pretty good on two legs swinging its arms. maybe bears can walk like that but not as a matter of course.
