TIME:  1:30 A.M.

LOCATION:  Holly Bluff, Mississippi, Sharkey County.  Deep inside Delta National Forest near a swampy area and sleugh called lost lake.

TERRAIN:  Wooded, Swampy

OBSERVED:    Myself (B. Odom), B. Davis, M. Davis, A. Davis, and R. Tullos (GCBRO Member)
all headed out to Delta National Forest located around Holly Bluff, Mississippi.  We had a report from 6 people who want to be anonymous, that a creature, that we believe has three toes and claws on its feet, and webbing,
but on it's hands it also has claws but no webbing. we know it had three toes because of video footage of the tracks but not of the actual creature. They saw the creature run out of a very thick cut over and saw it run through the woods, they decided to track it, until it started to get dark and they headed back, called a game warden, and grabbed a video camera and when the game warden arrived they did not tell him that they saw it, but told him they had found real strange tracks. The only problem with this is that it happened about nine years ago.  This is
what made us want to come out here and see if it or its offspring were still around.

We headed out there with a camper and a generator, we got there about dark, built a fire and started the generator, we knew the generator made a lot of noise that is why we camped there (lost lake) instead of
where it was actually seen.  We were having fun, then we decided to play a recording of a bigfoot, (you may know it to be called the peacock sound) when we heard a quick bam, bam, bam, ( all this was after we turned the generator off) sounded like a log being beat against another log or tree.

A few min. later we decided to try hitting a good size stick against a tree.  About 30 sec. later we heard an answer, so Rick decides to imitate the call we played off the tape .  Soon after this we heard a growl within 50 yards to our right.  We tried hitting the limb on the tree again and again and we got answers every time within a minute or two.

I was the first person to hear the sound of walking across the lake, we all listened and heard them too, we decided to shine the light on where we heard the noises, when we did I saw eyes with a pinkish glow, then
they would flicker and you could see it was avoiding the light, as you know most animals stare into the light, this was avoiding it, after a min a two the eyes disappeared and we calmed down and started the hitting the limb on the tree and we got a response very close, then I heard the walking again accept it was still on the other side of the lake, yet it was on the bank now, I ran down the bank on the other side and shined the light on it, I saw eyes
again and all of a sudden bam, splash.  Something threw something very large into the water, and snap !!!!
Another creature snapped a tree, not a limb on this side of the lake about 30-40- yards to our right.  This was a tree and it was snapped very clean and fast not like breaking but a __snap !!!
We all high tailed it to the truck and left all our stuff , fire burning , and left, not out of fear but protection

When dawn broke we tried the beating on the tree thing again and was answered for a while.
This was after we returned, when we thought it was safe to return.

Alex refused to return to the area where it happened after  we came back.

Description of Creature:   N/A

Activities of Witness:  Very calm, sitting around the fire drinking a few cokes talking.
 

Other Notes:  None of the individuals in this report had any firearms on them during this time.  So they felt it best to vacate the premises due to the creatures being as close as they were, as well as not knowing the full intentions or actions of an unknown creature.
