TERRAIN:    Wooded and hilly
 

OBSERVED:    My Brother and I were camping with a couple of family members. The family members went to bed and he and I were walking back from getting water at a small creek. There was a fire near by and it cast a glow. We were walking on a path that had trees on both sides. The path was big enough for both of us to walk on. We were not under the influence of any kind, other than food, water and air. So we were walking and talking when all of a sudden I seen it standing there on my side off the path by a tree. It was so close that I could have touched it. It freaked me out and I jumped hard to the left and I realized my brother did at the same time and we took off running. I got about ten steps and stopped all of a sudden and held out my arms to stop my brother. I could not believe what I had just seen but I knew that we would never out run it. I was freaked and I wanted to know if my brother had seen it to or if he was reacting to my actions. So I asked him what did he see, and he said, no what did you see, and I said no what did you see, and he said very freaked out NO, WHAT DID YOU SEE? I told him that I did not want to tell him because I thought that he wouldn't believe me if he didn't see it for himself. But I could tell he seen something the way he was acting so I said, I seen A Yeti! And he said yeah that is what I seen too. We said F*** and went back to camp. It was just standing there looking at us. It didn't move not even when my brother and I geeked and freaked. Later that night we heard loud snapping of trees and a screaming roar and we knew what it was. No one believes us but we know what we seen and we don't need people to believe to know that it is true enough. They are real and I hope we leave enough forests that they can stay in because they are so big you wouldn't want to tango with it.

Description of Creature:  It must have stood over 8 feet tall.  It was brown with long hair all over.  It looked like Chewbacca.  It just stood there as we walked by it.  It did not seem scared and did not try to attack us.  I think it was curious.  We had been playing hand drums and flutes earlier, and I think it was watching us then because it felt like someone was watching us.
