Wooded
OBSERVED:
Was going to work on a fort near our house in an empty wooded lot next
to the bowling alley. It is a lightly wooded, large corner lot. About a
acre to an acre and a half in size. There is a hill to the south side that
goes up at a fairly good incline about 60' to 80'. It is also lightly wooded
with a path going up to the top of the hill. There is a open field that
leads to heavily wooded areas to the south and east. Is not a area
that is used for anything and not used by anyone for walking or hiking.
Heard a rustling towards the top of the hill. Looked up and saw a figure
start to move. It is not uncommon to see deer and dogs in the area so it
wasn't something that was surprising to me. The figure came out from the
trees and brush, it was very large and covered with hair or fur. It was
very tall with long arms and a sort of bent over posture. Looking up at
the angle I was at, it makes it hard to say how tall it was. It was not
an average height or size of a person for sure. It then turned and ran
off to the South, which is the heavier of the wooded surrounding areas.

Activities
of Witness: Rode peddle
bike from house to the lot area. Was trying to find my friend. Something
that is done most days with my friends. We play airsoft in the lot and
the hills and woods right around there. We are there quite often.
Description
of Creature: Very tall and covered
in hair or fur. Long arms with a slightly bent over stance. Moved quickly
and got out of viewing very fast. Did not get a good clear view of the
head or face. Hard to tell the color with the morning sun but it was a
dark color.

Other
(Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:
Had not seen anything prior to this or since then. Will be going back today
to look at the area where it was seen. We go hunting and hiking in the
area and am very aware of animals in the woods. I have seen plenty of animals
moving or jumping out in front of us while in the woods. This was something
I have never seen and can't completely understand.
