DATE:  January 13, 2001

TIME:  10:30 P.M.

LOCATION:  Michigan, Schoolcraft County

TERRAIN:  Wooded

OBSERVED:  My friend and I were driving home from a basketball game when a big hairy thing ran in front of my car. My friend and I were amazed and scared but we turned our car so the lights were in the woods. It was pitch dark and the thing was out of sight. We started to drive again and about 10 seconds after we took off it ran by the front of the car again. We panicked. Again we turned the lights to the woods but it was gone. After that we quickly got home.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):   Driving home from a basketball game.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:   It was on two legs, very big and very hairy

OTHER NOTES:  There have been a few sightings in the  area.
