DATE:
July 4, 1979
TIME:
Afternoon
LOCATION:
Livingston County, Michigan
TERRAIN:
State Forest on one side of road wetland on other.
OBSERVED:
I have never forgotten that day. My husband and I were driving down
a dirt road as we approached a curve in the road, much to our shock stood
three creatures. They were up on an embankment at the side of the road
and appeared as startled by us, as we were of them. I believe that
it was a male, a female and a young one. They were covered in dark
brown long hair. They stood erect, side by side and the largest was about
seven feet tall, the other adult was a bit shorter and the young one was
perhaps four foot tall. Their features were strangely human yet,
not! Their heads turned to watch us as we drove past. My husband
drove on for about half a mile, in shock and disbelief at what we had just
seen and then to my horror, he took a tire iron from under the seat,
turned the car around in a drive way and headed back to the spot where
the creatures had been. They were gone!
Activities of Witness:
My husband and myself, were driving down a dirt road.
Description of Creature:
One was about seven feet tall. One slightly shorter and one was about
four feet tall. Long dark brown hair on head and body. Facial
features were more human, than ape like, in appearance.
Other Notes:
A man who lived in the general area ( within a five mile radius) upon hearing
my story related how he had seen a tall, dark creature walking upright
through a corn field, It towered above the corn stalks.
