TERRAIN:    Wooded with Swamps 
 

OBSERVED:    My son is in the NAVY and called me upset and asking me what to do because he took a short cut and something is screaming at him and is 30 feet away!! I heard what sounded like a high pitched scream and my son said it was about 9 ft tall. I told him to head the other way as fast as he can and on the phone with him I was scared for him hearing this thing scream at him.  My son ran for 5 min with this thing on his trail it was trying to chase him off. My son has lived in Arizona all his life and has been in the Navy for 3 years and does not scare easy. THIS WAS UNREAL !!! I told him to stop and scream back at it and he told his father where to go! My son is very respectful and has never said this to me. 
 

Activities of Witness:   I was on the phone with him. 
 

Description of Creature:  9 Ft tall dark hair about 350 to 450 lbs 
 

Other Notes:    He first heard alot of noise by the swamp then he saw it !!

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments:  When contacted with a follow-up e-mail the witness, did not have any further information to add, at this time, other than his son was still really shook up over this incident.
