TIME:
8 PM--dark
LOCATION:
Allegany County, Maryland
TERRAIN:
Wooded, mountains, lots of foliage
OBSERVED:
At first, I was sitting in my house, looking out the front window. Looking
up from the window, There is a hill. I looked up the hill, and saw in the
formation of a shadow of what I first thought was a coyote or a bear, some
sort of wildlife. I knew there had been bigfoot sightings around here in
the past, around the 1980's. The "creature" I saw, was at least a good
7 to 7 1/2 feet tall, I'd say probably about 350 pounds. Very large framed.
Long hair, I couldn't tell what color it was, since it was fairly dark
outside and the shadow was cast from the light of the moon. I didn't hear
it make any noises except for leaves crackling as it moved up the hill
and branches snapping off of trees. It was walking up the hill fairly quickly,
but not running. I remember that its arms were almost as long as its legs.
The next day, I walked up the hill when it was bright enough out, about
noon. I saw a really thick branch snapped off a tree trunk. Fairly high
up, at least 10 feet. And several of the small twigs on nearby plants had
been snapped, in a straight line going up the hill, almost like trail markers.
Activities of Witness:
Sitting in my house, looking out the front window.
Description of Creature:
Couldn't tell the color of the hair. Slouched over when it walked, you
could see its shoulder blades, moving under its skin, the hair wasn't that
think, but very long. It was about 7 - 7/2 feet tall, and a good 350 pounds
as stated before.
Other Notes:
It was fairly dark, the only light outside was the moon, and there wasn't
a could in the sky that night.
