TERRAIN:    the edge of a clear cut and a swamp
 

OBSERVED:    The first thing that ever hinted to me that something strange was living in my area, was when I found a human like footprint that measured around 15 1/2 inches long, and around 8 inches wide.  I made plaster casts of the prints, and I now have them locked up.  I haven't told anyone about this until now.
About a year later in 2004, me, my sister, and her friend both stood in the back yard and listened to what sounded like a hooting/screaming sound coming from a clear-cut behind our house. The screams sent chills down my back. Also we heard the
screams two nights later.   I've hunted the woods and swamps all my life and I have NEVER heard anything like that.

Other Notes:    When I found the tracks i was scouting a place to deer hunt. When I heard the screams i was trying to listen for coyotes, but that didn't work out.
