OBSERVED:    I was fishing in little river swamp in the 8 mile bend,there is an old brake there. i had run my lines about 10 pm and came back to camp, just as i had about went to sleep i heard a big splash, i thought it was a beaver. then my dog started acting crazy, not a pup, a 3 yr old half pit and catahoula kerr hog catching dog, never afraid of anything or person i knew of. he ran around growling one minute whinning and shaking the next, i heard limbs bracking  kind of a growling and more splashing, i was 17 yrs old and scared to death. this went on for 15 20 min. i was on a three wheeler but could not bring myself to run for it, i got up next to a tree with my gun and waited, i heard whatever it was take off in the water. the next morning i found broken limbs 10 or so feet off the ground, a green cypres tree 6 in round twisted and bent over. no tracks just muddy water at the water, i never told anyone because i was afraid no one would believe  me i'm 48 now and care less what people think
