LOCATION:    Eddyville, Kentucky, Lyon County
 

TERRAIN:  Wooded
               This was back on an old abandon like road in the woods
               which lead back to the lake.
 

OBSERVED:  I saw a large creature walking across the trail in front of the car. I came so close to it i almost hit it. It turned and looked at me and lunged at the car and at that time i just put the car in reverse and sped away from the area as fast as i possibly could. In the distance as i was driving away i heard a low but loud growling sound.
 

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESSES:  I was driving home from a night out at the lake with some friends at the time of the occurrence. it was sort of humid and misty like out and i couldn't see very far in front of the car.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  I couldn't really see the face but it almost looked human like from what i could see. It was rather tall and hairy. large hands with some fairly long claws. The face was human the body almost ape like. it was like a huge beast. I dont really know what it was but i finally decided to report it.
